Our dog is in her elderly years as a 13 year old Pit Bull. As she got older, she started to often wake up in the middle of the night and start pacing. We'd have to get up and go sit with her and try to get her to go back to sleep. She has some of the typical older dog issues such as arthritis which may be partially to blame. We started giving our dog Sunday Scaries CBD treats every night at bed time. I don't know if the CBD helps with her pain or just helps keep her calm and in a good mental state for sleeping, but since we started giving her those she's sleeping through the night about 98% of the time which is a huge improvement. Now my dog and my spouse and I are all getting a good night's sleep which is great. She loves the treats and gobbles them down right away.

I have FOUR rescue dogs. All different breeds and ages, but all 50 - 60 lbs and all maniacs. I have one who is especially traumatized by an old owner and she, unfortunately, has crazy separation anxiety. She has a tough time if I leave for 2 hours to a doctor appointment or grocery shopping. I have got into the habit of giving her a full CBD treat a few minutes before I leave and I give the other 3 a half. It definitely seems to make a difference when I get home. Instead of her being manic and needing to velcro to my side, she is calm and content to just greet me and doesn't seem to feel the need to jump on/at me like before. The other dogs were never as anxious, but the treats do put them in a nice cool, mellow mood. Not sleepy or drowsy, just slowed down and chilled out.
